The Eternal Significance of Your New Year

This is a book about what God did in my dad's life while he was sick. It applies to anyone who has gone through trials. You didn't have to know him to hopefully gain encouragement and inspiration from what he wrote and the points to ponder sections for personal reflection. From a Biblical standpoint, by allowing God to walk him through the journey, he glorified God and found peace.

This is a passion project for me; it's not to make money. Even though the book is now available on Amazon.com and in a Kindle version, if anyone would like one or knows someone who it might help, you can get them through me at cost for $3.50. Feel free to email me at: melwrenbrown@gmail.com.

I pray that God blesses you all this new year, even if the miracles you experience are disguised as trials that seem impossible to bear at the time.

When Bill Williams was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, he gained the purpose to life while learning how to die, observing each circumstance in light of the cross. He shared the progression of his physical and spiritual path with friends and family in a series of inspiring emails. Each missive contains a "Points to Ponder" section, scripture, and Christian quotes. With passion, piety, and self-reflection these intimate letters offer reassurance and insight to anyone who is navigating through challenging times. Regardless of the circumstances you're struggling with, whether divorce, job loss, death, disease or other illness, you'll find comfort in the way God gave this man the strength to live out his last days in peace and joy that only Christ can give. Viewing his terminal illness through the lens of God's Word not only allowed Bill to face the reality of his grave disease but also thank God for the lessons he learned through cancer. This made all the difference in the last three years of his life and has profoundly affected numerous individuals. Life is but a breath when compared to eternity. Before you can adequately be prepared to live, you must be adequately prepared to die.
